A: It is a ceiling-mounted manual clothes-drying system designed to use overhead space while keeping the floor and balcony area clear.

Q: What are the drying pipes made of?
A: The drying pipes are made of MS steel with a white powder-coated finish.

Q: Are the drying pipes supplied as one long pipe?
A: No. PraVi Nation supplies shorter interlocking pipe sections. These sections are joined during installation to make the required drying-rod length.

Q: How are the pipe sections joined?
A: The pipe sections have matching male-type and female-type ends. They are joined by engaging one section into the other, similar to an interlocking pipe connection.

Q: What sizes are available?
A: The Ceiling Cloth Drying Hanger is available in 3 ft, 4 ft, 5 ft and 6 ft variants.

Q: How are the pipe sections divided for each variant?
A: The 3 ft and 4 ft variants use 2 pipe sections. The 5 ft and 6 ft variants use 3 pipe sections.

Q: Are installation accessories supplied?
A: Yes. The product includes ceiling hangers, hanger holder, nylon ropes, screws, grippers, pipe sections and the required fitting hardware.

Q: Do I have to assemble the pipe sections?
A: Yes. The supplied shorter pipe sections must be properly joined together to make each drying rod.

Q: Can the hanger be installed on any ceiling?

Q: Why are shorter pipe sections supplied instead of one long pipe?

Q: What should I do if the drying rods are not level?
A: Stop operation and check the rope routing, pipe joints, fixing alignment and rope balance. Correct the issue before using the hanger.

Q: What should I do if a rope, fixing or pipe joint becomes loose?
A: Stop using the hanger until the loose component is properly corrected and the system has been checked for safe operation.

Q: How should the hanger be cleaned?
A: Clean the pipes and other accessible parts using a clean, soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

Q: What should I check before using the hanger?
A: Check that the ceiling fixings, hanger supports, pipe joints, rope connections and grippers are secure and that the rods move smoothly.

INSTALLATION GUIDE

1. Select the Installation Location

Choose a suitable, level and structurally sound ceiling area.

Make sure sufficient clear space is available for the drying rods to move up and down without obstruction from fans, lights, cabinets, doors or other objects.

2. Check the Supplied Parts

Before starting installation, check that all supplied parts are available:

• Ceiling hangers / support assemblies
• Hanger holder
• MS steel drying-pipe sections with white powder coating
• Nylon ropes
• Screws
• Grippers
• Required fitting hardware

3. Mark the Ceiling Fixing Positions

Position the supplied ceiling hanger / support assemblies at the required location.

Use them as a guide and accurately mark the fixing positions on the ceiling.

4. Drill the Ceiling

Drill suitable holes at the marked positions using equipment and a drill bit appropriate for the actual ceiling material.

5. Fix the Ceiling Hangers

Install the supplied fixing hardware and securely fix the ceiling hanger / support assemblies.

The fixing method and hardware must be suitable for the actual ceiling structure.

6. Install the Hanger Holder

Install the supplied hanger holder / rope control component at the intended position and make sure it is securely fixed.

7. Assemble the Drying Pipes

PraVi Nation does not supply one long 6 ft pipe.

Instead, shorter pipe sections are supplied for easier handling, packing, transportation and installation.

The pipe sections have matching male-type and female-type ends.

Engage the matching ends fully into one another so that the sections form a secure drying rod.

8. Assemble the Required Length

Use the pipe sections according to the selected variant:

• 3 ft variant – 2 pipe sections
• 4 ft variant – 2 pipe sections
• 5 ft variant – 3 pipe sections
• 6 ft variant – 3 pipe sections

Make sure every pipe joint is fully engaged before fitting the rod into the hanger system.

9. Install the Drying Rods

Fit the completed drying rods into the supplied ceiling hanger / support arrangement.

Check that each rod is correctly seated and aligned.

10. Route the Nylon Ropes

Pass the supplied nylon ropes through the ceiling hanger / pulley arrangement as intended for raising and lowering the drying rods.

Make sure the ropes are correctly routed and are free from knots, twists or unnecessary crossing.

11. Secure the Rope Ends

Use the supplied grippers or other supplied fixing components to secure the rope ends.

Keep the operating rope at a convenient height for the user.

12. Check and Level the Drying Rods

Lower the rods and check that they remain level.

If any rod is uneven, stop the installation and correct the rope routing, fixing alignment or balance before continuing.

13. Test the Raising and Lowering Mechanism

Operate the system slowly several times.

Confirm that:

• The drying rods move smoothly.
• The rods raise and lower correctly.
• The rods remain properly aligned.
• The ropes move freely.
• No rod rubs against the ceiling or nearby objects.

14. Final Inspection

Before placing clothes on the hanger, check:

• All ceiling fixings are secure.
• All pipe joints are properly engaged.
• All hanger supports are secure.
• All rope connections and grippers are secure.
• The rods remain level.
• The raising and lowering mechanism operates smoothly.

15. Installation Complete

The Ceiling Cloth Drying Hanger is ready for use after the complete system has been securely installed and the raising/lowering movement has been successfully tested.
